Hi, I am nelie

I'm based in Wichita, Kansas. I began my photography journey 4 years ago during my Sophomore year at North High School. I specialize in Editorial and Creative photography.

I'm an 20 year old girl and a daughter of two immigrant parents from from Mexico who sacrificed their lives in hopes that their children could succeed, which is why I wish to do all I can to make them proud. I was born here in America but love to enhance my Mexican roots. Since I was young, I was always shown admiration for my skill and dedication towards Art. I would often exceed the limits and expectations in my Art classes. It started off with Drawing and Painting, then during my Freshman year, I was introduced to Graphic Designs and Photography.

Over the years, I have been shown appreciation for my work and dedication with awards such as such as

• The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway Award Winner in the Graphic Designs pathway for the 2023-2024 School year.
• The Quill and Scroll award for young Journalist, Photographers, and Graphic Designers.
• The Grizzly Magazine Scholarship for Butler CC

Being a Photographer means lots, which is why "lensnelie" is about capturing the essence of every moment.
